On June 18, the Head of the RA NA Bright Armenia Faction met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the RA Sergey Kopirkin.

On June 27-28, in the capital of the RF the regular sitting of the Inter-Parliamentary Committee on Cooperation between the RA National Assembly and the RF Federal Assembly, where Edmon Marukyan would also take part. A number of items concerning the agenda of the regular sitting of the Inter-Parliamentary Committee were discussed with the RF Ambassador. The NA Bright Armenia Faction made a decision to propose the Armenian and Russian sides to organize one of the works of the regular sittings of the Inter-Parliamentary Committee in Gyumri.

The Ambassador handed over to Edmon Marukyan an invitation to take part in the International Conference on the theme The Development of Parliamentarism to be held in Moscow in July.

During the meeting the sides also touched upon the development and deepening of the Armenian-Russian relations.
