Manvel GHAZARYAN
Born on May 2, 1961 in the village of Vanashen in the Ararat region.

1989 - graduated from the Yerevan Institute of National Economy. Economist.

1980 - 1982 - served in the Soviet Army. He worked as a commodity specialist, economist and accountant. 1991-1992 - the director of the Ararat Poultry Factory. 1993-1997 - the director of Vedi Wine Factory, 1997 - the president of Vedi Wine Factory OJSC.

1999-2003 - a Deputy of the National Assembly (electoral district # 33) member of the Standing Committee on Financial-Credit, Budgetary and Economic Affairs of the National Assembly and a member of the Unity Faction.

2003-2007 - a Deputy in the National Assembly (electoral district #24) Member of the Standing Committee on Financial-Credit, Budgetary and Economic Affairs of the National Assembly. Member of the RPA Faction.

On May 12, 2007 he was elected as a Deputy of the national Assembly from electoral district #18.

He was awarded medals of “Motherly Gratitude” (2000,) NKR “Courage” (2000,) “For Freedom of Shushi” (2001,) “For courage” (2001,) “Marshal Baghramyan” (2001,) “Garegin Nzdeh” (2005) and “Fighting Service” (2007,) as well as awarded diploma of the President of the Council of Artsakh Freedom Fighters. Since 2002 – member of the council of industrials and businessmen of the Republic of Armenia and member of the Olympic Committee of the Republic of Armenia.

Mr. Ghazaryan is married with three children.
