Narine Khachaturyan

Born on February 16, 1962 in Yerevan.

1985 - Graduated from Department of Journalism of the Faculty of Philology of Yerevan State University (YSU).

1986 - Advanced courses at the Central Television of the USSR (Ostankino, Moscow).

2003 - Graduated from the training course “Women Entrepreneurship” of the American University of Armenia.

1982 - 2007 - Worked in the arena of Television.

1991 -1993 - State Committee on Religious Affairs adjunct to the Government of the Republic of Armenia.

2002 - 2012 - Lecturer at the University of Management “Gladzor.”

2009 - 2011 - Lecturer of YSU.

2007 - 2019 - Director of the State Non-Profit (SNPO) “H. Tumanyan Museum” of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Armenia.

2018 - Member of the Municipal Council of Yerevan (“My Step” alliance of parties).

Since 2007 - Participant and Speaker at local and international scientific conferences.

Since 2009 - Invited speaker at literary and cultural events organized in diaspora communities.

Since 2013 - Member of the International Council of Museums (ICOM).

2018 - Member of the Public Council of the Republic of Armenia.

2018 - Member of the Board of Trustees of the A. Spendiarian National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet.

2019 - Member of the Management Council of the Yerevan State Institute of Theater and Cinema.

December 9, 2018 - Elected Member of the National Assembly from the national electoral list of the “My Step” alliance of parties.

Author of a number of TV movie scripts   (“Christian Armenia,” “They Need Love,” “Sorry for 1700 Times Lord,” “Greetings from Nice,” “Long Live Victor Hugo,” “Life on Credit,” “Antibes,” “Emile Gazaz,” “I am Always With You, Inside You," etc). and numerous articles, papers, books.
