Born on May 10, 1963 in the village of Avshar in the Ararat province.

1982 -1984 - Served in the Soviet Army.

1989 - Graduated from the Financial Faculty of the Yerevan Institute of National Economy. Financier - Economist.

1989 - Senior inspector in Ararat Tax Inspectorate.

1991-1994 - Ran a private farm.

Since 1995 - President of the council of Avshar Wine Factory in Ararat province.

2003 - 2007 - Member of the National Assembly (proportional electoral system, ARF). Member of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the National Assembly. Member of the "Armenian Revolutionary Federation" faction. Non -partisan.

2007 - 2012 - Member of the National Assembly (proportional electoral system, ARF).

June 19, 2007 - July 11, 2008 - Member of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the National Assembly. July 11, 2008 - May 31, 2012 - Member of the Standing Committee on Territorial Management and Local Self-Government of the National Assembly. Member of the "Armenian Revolutionary Federation" faction. Non - partisan.

2012 - 2017 - Elected Member of the National Assembly from the electoral district #18. Member of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs of the National Assembly. Non - partisan.

April 2, 2017 - Elected Member of the National Assembly by the territorial electoral list of the electoral district #5 of the RPA.

Married, with four children.
