Born  January 30, 1955, in Yerevan.

1978 - Graduated from the Faculty of Law of Yerevan State University. Lawyer, Major General of the Police (2003), Honored Lawyer of the Republic of Armenia (2006).

1978 - 1992 - Occupied various offices in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

1993 -1996 - First Deputy of the Head of the Military Police Department of the Ministry of Defense.

1997 - 1998 - Head of the Legal Department of the Ministry of Defense.

1998 - 1999 - Head of the Police Department of the Arabkir Community of Yerevan Ministry of Internal Affairs.  

1999 - 2014 - Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Head of the Main Investigation Department.

April 9, 2026 - Elected Member of the National Assembly from the national electoral list of the “Armenia” alliance of parties.

Married with three children.
