On December 27 the NA President Hovik Abrahamyan held a reception for the NA deputies and the staff on the occasion of the New Year and Holy Nativity.
Congratulating those present on the occasion of the coming holidays, Hovik Abrahamyan said:
“Dear colleagues,
I warmly congratulate all of you on the occasion of the coming New Year and Christmas/Holy Nativity.
In a few days one more year of our joint work ends. Perhaps, some of you think that your work is not so important or is not so visible. I ensure you that all of you, irrespective of your position and work have an important role in providing regular activity of the parliament. And I am thankful to all of you for your responsibility and decent attitude to work. I am sure that our continuous cooperation will also be effective in the coming year of 2013. I wish you to be more attentive, caring and tolerant towards each other, more friendly and useful to each other.
New Year is a family and consolidating holiday, which everyone celebrates among the close relatives. Some of you even sometimes stay at their work more than at home. Hence, we’ll consider that this is not only the place for work for everybody, but our hospitable home, and today, as family members of the parliament, we together celebrate perhaps the most expected Armenian traditional family holidays, the New Year.
Once again I congratulate everybody and wish you health, welfare and optimism. Let the peace, success and happiness guide you, your family members and relatives in the New Year.”
