Vagharshak Hakobyan presents regional developments to Kazakh officials

On May 3, the Deputy Chair of the Standing Committee on Regional and Eurasian Integration Vagharshak Hakobyan met with the Director of the Kazakhst5an Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of Kazakhstan Yerkin Tukumov. The Committee member Khachatur Sukiasyan and the Ambassador of Kazakhstan Bolat Imanbayev attended the meeting.

The sides underscored the high level of cooperation established between Armenia and Kazakhstan in bilateral and multilateral formats, underlining especially the cooperation in the parliamentary format. The interlocutors expressed conviction that the bilateral friendly and mutually beneficial relations are developing and deepening for the benefit of two peoples and states. A large scope of issues on the perspective directions between Armenia and Kazakhstan was observed, the necessity of reaching agreements on subjects was spoken about.

Talking about the regional security problems, Vagharshak Hakobyan assured that Armenia is going on through establishing peace in the region and highlighted the support of Kazakhstan to the implementation of this process.

At the meeting issues on the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, the delimitation and demarcation processes, the rapprochement of the Armenian-Kazakh bilateral and multilateral Kazakh trade-economic, cultural and political cooperation were discussed.

Reference was made to the RA-EU, the RA-CSTO and the RA-EAEU interaction. The Committee Deputy Chair presented in detail the steps of the authorities of Armenia in this direction.
