On October 20 the delegation headed by the Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China will arrive in Armenia with an official visit.
Meetings with Mr. Tigran Torosyan, President of the National Assembly, and with the members of Armenia-China Parliamentary Friendship Group are planned.
Meetings with Mr. Robert Kocharyan, President of the Republic of Armenia, and Mr. Andranik Margaryan, Prime Minister, are scheduled on the same day.
On October 21 Mr. Xu Jialu, Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, will put a wreath in the memory of the victims of the 1915 Genocide in Tsitsernakaberd.
His Holiness Garegin II, the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of all Armenians will receive the delegation in the Holy See Echmiadzin on the same day.
On October 22 the delegation will leave Yerevan.
