Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure to Be 8 Big Programmes in Upcoming Budgetary Year

On November 5, at the joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committees on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment Protection and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs the draft law on the RA State Budget for 2022.

As the Minister of the Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan informed, 335bln 257mln AMD would be allocated, 209bln 594mln AMD would be directed to the financing of the capital expenditures, and 125bln 663mln – to the current expenditures. The Ministry will implement 8 big programmes.

According to the Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Sergey Nersisyan, in 2022 the grants being allocated to Yerevan community, including the subvention purposeful allocations and donations being given by the principle of financial leveling was envisaged to allocate in the amount of 20bln 441mln AMD, and 37.5bln AMD to the budget for the implementation of the authorities delegated to the Mayor of Yerevan by the state.

Sergey Nersisyan noted that 6.6bln AMD was allocated by 2022 draft budget for the second programme of the organization and reconstruction for the works of Yerevan Metro. 500mln AMD will be used for the repairing of the metro infrastructure and escalators.

“How is the work going on the work of the construction of Ajapnyak Metro station?” the MPs were interested. Sergey Nersisyan clarified that two-phase competition was announced, and the first, deisgn phase was over, and the Government designed 1.5mln EUR loan means.The Deputy Mayor expressed hope that the second phase of the competition also will be successfully finished.

17.1bln AMD is allocated on the educational programmes, which is decreased by 821mln AMD compared with the current year.

31 kindergartens are designed to be fundamentally repaired in Yerevan.

The RA Marz Governors, who presented the allocations designed by the draft budget for 2022. also took part in the debate.
