On October 23 the Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport Artak Davtyan met with the participants of the Yerevan Forum of the Student and Youth Organizations. The Forum is held within the framework of the Cooperation Council in the sphere of education of the CIS countries. Welcoming the guests in the RA National Assembly, Artak Davtyan has noted that the peoples of the CIS member states are connected with each other with common history and past. He highlighted the role of the youth in the world and in the region in terms of continuity of the ongoing processes. By the request of the youth Mr Davtyan presented the RA NA structure, composition, the political parties represented in the parliament and the activities of the Standing Committees. Then he gladly answered the guests’ questions, which related to the investment of the Bologna educational system in Armenia, the problems of patriotic upbringing in the RA and the activation of inter-state cooperation in the sphere of education.
