On February 2-4, the delegation of the RA National Assembly is in Artsakh Republic (AR) on a working visit.

On February 3, the RA NA deputies accompanied by the AR NA Vice President Vahram Balayan visited Stepanakert Memorial Complex and laid flowers at the tombs of the deceased freedom fighters.

On the same day in the AR NA Session Hall the meeting of the parliamentarians of the two republics in expanded format was held.

Welcoming the attendees, the AR NA President Ashot Ghulyan considered pivotal for the parliament of Artsakh the relations with the National Assembly of Armenia being improved year by year, the regular meetings at the level of the committees and the sittings of the Inter-Parliamentary Committee on Cooperation.

Thanking Ashot Ghulyan for the reception the Head of the RA NA RPA Faction Vahram Baghdasaryan highly assessed the level of cooperation existing between the parliaments of the two republics. He presented the order of the RA NA President Ara Babloyan on awarding the RA National Assembly Medal of Honour the President of the National Assembly of Artsakh Republic Ashot Ghulyan for his significant contribution to the strengthening of inter-parliamentary friendly ties on the occasion of the 30^th anniversary of Karabakh movement.

The Chairs of the RA NA Standing Committees and the representatives of the factions, who provided information on the ongoing debates in the parliament of Armenia on a number of issues, delivered speeches. Debates were also held on the issues of different spheres in the relevant committees.
