First Sitting of RA NA Standing Committee on Financial and Budgetary Affairs in 2018 Convened

On January 9, the sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Gagik Minasyan was convened.

The coordinator-expert of the RA NA Budget Office Gagik Barseghyan presented the annual report for 2017 on the works done. He touched upon the implementation of the functions of the Budget Office, the preparation of the certificates and their delivery, as well as the continuous capacity building of the RA National Assembly.

Gagik Minasyan referred to the quality of the works done by the Budget Office in 2017 and the organized seminars. He proposed his colleagues to positively assess the annual report

The Vice Governor of the RA Central Bank Vakhtang Abrahamyan presented the RA draft law on Amending the RA Law on Combating Money Laundering nd Terrorism Financing and the enclosed package of bills.

The package of the draft laws was endorsed by the Standing Committee.

The Committee debated the item Cryptocurrency in the Financial Markets included in the agenda of the sitting, on which the Vice Governor of the RA Central Bank Vakhtang Abrahamyan and The RA Deputy Minister of Finance Karen Tamazyan presented their viewpoints.

The RA NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs debated the draft law on Audit Chamber authored by the RA NA deputies Gagik Minasyan, Galust Sahakyan and Samvel Nikoyan and the enclosed draft laws.

The Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs touched upon the co-authors’ recommendations.

The Committee voted for all voiced recommendations.
