On December 8, the teachers and pupils of Yerevan Lev Tolstoy N 128 Basic School, who had visited the parliament within the framework of the RA NA Open Doors programme and were observing the work of the NA sitting.
After taking a tour in the parliament building and observing the work of the NA regular sittings the guests took part in the open lesson that had become traditional conducted by the RA NA deputy Ruzanna Muradyan.
Ruzanna Muradyan presented the structure of the parliament, touched upon its activities, the political forces represented in the parliament, the functions of the Standing Committees and Friendship Groups.
Afterwards the RA NA deputy answered the pupils’ questions which related to the settlement of the problems of different spheres.
The pupils also presented to the MP the problems concerning them, and among them were the necessary number of computers, as well as the absence of the laboratories designed for the natural science subjects in their educational centres.
Ruzanna Muradyan promised the pupils to visit the school in the near future and find appropriate solutions for the presented problems.
On December 8, within the framework of the RA NA Open Doors programme the students of the European regional Academy also visited the parliament.
The guests took a tour in the parliament building and got familiarized with the happenings in the National Assembly.
The RA NA deputy Karine Atshemyan conducted the regular open lesson. Welcoming the students in the National Assembly, Karine Atshemyan presented the activities of the legislative power and referred to the social-economic and cultural problems of the country. The MP also touched upon the steps taken in Armenia after the Constitutional reforms and the works of harmonisation with the legislation.
The students addressed their questions to Karine Atshemyan which particularly related to the Artsakh problem, Armenia-European Union relations and the problems of duly presenting the Armenian culture.
