At November 24, the working sitting moderated by Khosrov Harutyunyan the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs continued debating the new Customs Code of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).
The Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) adjunct to the RA Government Vakhtang Mirumyan presented the 5-8 parts of the EEU Customs Code which the experts and the representatives of the NGOs debated in detail.
During the debate a number of issues, which related to providing to the customs points newest technical means, customs services, making use of the duty free shops, state-business relations, creating authorized entities’ system and the problems of the sphere, were debated.
The SRC Deputy Chairman has given clarifications and has noted that the EEU new Customs Code specifies state-business relations and reduces the businessman’s alternative expenditures.
The Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Khosrov Harutyunyan, highlighting the preliminary debates of the Code noted that comparative working debate of the EEU Customs Code and the RA Customs Code in force would be organized in the future.
The Committee Chair has noted that in terms of making more effective the entities’ activities the EEU Customs Code is of essential importance.
