On November 16, the RA National Assembly continued debating the RA draft law on the RA State Budget for 2018.

The deputies welcomed the delegation led by the President of the Senate of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Ankie Broekers-Knol, who was present at the RA NA sitting. During the sitting Mrs Broekers-Knol addressed the MPs. See the speech here.

The parliamentarians also greeted the students and lecturers of the Faculty of Economics and Management of Yerevan State University, who had visited the parliament within the framework of the RA NA Open Doors programme.

The RA NA deputies Gevorg Petrosyan, Naira Zohrabyan and the RA ministers expressed their viewpoints on the draft state budget.

The RA Minister of Territorial Administration and Development Davit Lokyan, the RA Minister of Agriculture Ignati Arakelyan, the RA Minister of Education and Science Levon Mkrtchyan, the RA Deputy Prime Minister Vache Gabrielyan, the NA deputies Tigran Urikhanyan, Hakob Hakobyan, Artak Zeynalyan and Aram Sargsyan, Gagik Melikyan, Vahe Enfiajyan, Lena Nazaryan, Sergey Bagratyan, Hermine Naghdalyan and the NA Deputy Speaker Mikayel Melkumyan delivered speeches on the issue under debate.

The RA NA Factions (the ARF – Aghvan Vardanyan, Tsarukyan – Mikayel Melkumyan, the RPA – Vahram Baghdasaryan) expressed their viewpoints on the draft budget.

In his final speech the RA Minister of Finance Vardan Aramyan has noted that a document has been submitted to the parliament which gives a picture about the tax-budgetary policy for 2018.

The RA NA Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov has noted that the debate of the bill on the RA Draft State Budget for 2018 is interrupted by four days. The deputies and the factions can make recommendations.

Afterwards the RA Minister of Finance Vardan Aramyan the RA draft law on Exempting VAT the Import of the Product of Exclusively Military Importance for the RA Armed Forces in the Frameworks of the Inter-state Agreements between the RA and the RF.

The NA deputy Karine Atshemyan presented for debate the draft law on Amending the RA Law on the Citizens Who Had Not Passed Compulsory Military Service by the Violation of the Established Order.

The member of the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs and Protection of Human Rights Romik Manukyan presented the viewpoint of the Committee.

The RA First Deputy Minister of Defense Artak Zakaryan thanked the co-authors of the bill for the cooperation.

During the exchange of thoughts the RA NA deputies Artak Zeynalyan, Mane Tandilyan, Rustam Makhudyan, Sergey Bagratyan, Vahram Baghdasaryan presented their viewpoints.
