On November 11, the RA NA President Ara Babloyan attended the opening of the inter-higher educational institutional exhibition competition with the heading ‘One Piece of Fire’ which took place in the Artists’ Union of Armenia.
The exhibition-competition is implemented with the joint efforts of the RPA Youth Organization, Armenian Youth Foundation and the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia on the occasion of the International Youth Day and International Students’ Day. Works of the young artists of different higher educational institutions: painting, drawing, sculpture and ceramics were presented.
Congratulating the young artists on International Youth Day, the RA NA President highlighted the organization of the exhibition-competition. Mr Babloyan has undelrined that today the young people have an opportunity to use and develop their creative imagination, knowledge and capabilities in practice in different spheres, including art and culture. In his speech the Head of the parliament has noted that we need educated, initiative and responsible people, who are creative and can make brave decisions.
Ara Babloyan has underlined that the youth in our country has been attached an important and special role: a great number of young people are in the legislative and executive, as well as in the local self-government bodies.
“Wide opportunities and great perspectives are opened before you. But you yourself should go forward to all that, your future which is also the future of our Motherland. The destiny of the Motherland, residence and house depends on your civil and political conscience, your ideas and initiatives. Everybody’s wish should be to make our country, our Motherland our community, our house safer, developed and welfare,” the RA NA President said.
Highlighting such exhibitions the RA NA deputy, the Chairman of the RPA Youth Organization Karen Avagyan and the Chancellor of the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia Aram Isabekyan has noted that it is a unique opportunity for the young creators for presenting their works to the public. To their assessment, it is a great honour to be presented in the Artists’ Union for any artist.
Ara Babloyan took a tour in the exhibition hall and got acquainted with the presented works and communicated with the young artists.
The exhibition-festival will be open six days, and at the end the professional committees will make a decision for the winners.
