On November 6, at the joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Health Care and Social Affairs and on Financial-Credit Budgetary Affairs moderated by Hakob Hakobyan and Gagik Minasyan the RA draft law on the RA State Budget for 2018 was debated. The RA NA deputies, the RA Ministers, those responsible for the sphere and other invitees took part in the debate.

The RA First Deputy Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan presented the financial indices envisaged for the spheres social security and health care, and the RA Minister of Labour and Social Security Artem Asatryan and the RA Minister of Health Care Levon Altunyan presented the policy being implemented in the spheres led by them and talked about the upcoming programmes and the works to be done.

The deputies addressed numerous issues and recommendations to the speakers, proposed to review some allocations, make redistributions, touched upon the EEU Customs Code.

On the same day at the joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport and on Financial-Credit Budgetary Affairs moderated by Vardan Bostanjyan and Gagik Minasyan the financial means to be allocated by the draft law on the RA State Budget for 2018 to the spheres of science, education, culture, sport, youth and information.

The RA First Deputy Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan presented the volumes of the financial means to be allocated to the mentioned spheres, and the Heads of the spheres – the RA Minister of Education and Science Levon Mkrtchyan, the RA Minister of Culture Armen Amiryan, the RA Minister of Sport and Youth Hrachya Rostomyan, the RA Deputy Chairman of the RA National Commission on Television and Radio Vladimir Ohanyan and the RA Deputy Chairman of the Public TV Radio Company Council Stepan Zakaryan - introduced the programmes to be implemented.

The deputies addressed questions to the speakers on the abovementioned spheres.

Until November 9, at 18:00 at the Standing Committees of the RA National Assembly the debates of the RA draft law on the RA State Budget for 2018 would be summed up. The NA deputies, the factions and the Standing Committees will submit the recommendations in written form on the RA draft law on the RA State Budget for 2018 to the NA Staff.
