On November 2, in Saint Petersburg the meeting of the IPA CIS Commission on Economy and Finance was held. The RA NA deputy, the Deputy Chair of the RA NA Committee on Foreign Relations Hermine Naghdalyan was unanimously elected Chair of the Commission. The IPA CIS Acting Secretary General Sergey Antufiev took part in the organizational works of the Commission Meeting. Deputy Chairs of the Commission were elected the Chair of the Committee for Economy, Budget and Finances of Belarus Parliament Vladimir Pantyukhov and the member of the Tajik Parliament Sharif Rahimzoda. About two dozens of issues: public-private cooperation, engineering, inner water transport, price formation, etc were included in the agenda of the Commission.

The Commission debated the item on the Expertise Council on Economic Affairs adjunct to IPA CIS, and a few days ago the IPA Council made a decision of its creation on the Rules of Procedure of the Expertise Council, structure and human resources, its formation would take place at the Spring Session after the approval of the issues of the Rules of Procedure. The Expertise Council will support the expertise works of the Commission, involving the scientific-practical potential of the CIS countries in the law-making activity support. The Commission also touched upon the perspective plan of the model law-making activities for 2016-2020.

The meeting of the Permanent Commission on Practices of State-Building and Local Government was held, and the member of the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs and Protection of Human Rights Vanik Asatryan took part in it. 8 agenda items were discussed, Vanik Asatryan delivered a speech, presenting the opportunities, development and importance of ecotourism in the Republic of Armenia from the environmental viewpoint. He also took part in the debate of the item of the restoration concept of the environmental damages, stressing the necessity of the natural restoration of that damage.

The Meeting of the IPA CIS Commission on Legal Issues was also held, and the member of the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs and Protection of Human Rights Andranik Karapetyan took part in it. A number of important items were included in the Commission agenda: the model draft laws and concepts on Mortgage, on Heritage Law, on Judicial-Expertise Activity, on Advocacy Activities and on Advocacy. Andranik Karapetyan took part in the discussions and made different proposals during the debate of a number of laws, which mainly stemmed from the developments of the given spheres in the RA.

In the frameworks of different laws, during the disputes the succeeded solutions of Armenia’s laws and the effective character of the reforms were recorded. The MP Andranik Karapetyan’s proposals were completely included in the bills under debate and concepts. The RA NA Permanent Representative to the IPA CIS Hayk Chilingaryan took part in the Commission meetings and organization of the works.
