RA NA Standing Committees Convene Sittings

On September 26, the sittings of the RA NA Standing Committees were held.

At the sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs moderated by Khosrov Harutyunyan the draft law on Amending the RA Law on Games of Chance, Games of Chance through Internet and Casinos was debated, which introduced the RA Deputy Minister of Finance Karen Tamazyan.

The Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Khosrov Harutyunyan presented recommendations, which would be included in the draft law, and it would be presented to the parliament in edited version.

The RA Deputy Minister of the Economic Development and Investments Hovhannes Azizyan, the RA First Deputy Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies Gagik Grigoryan presented the draft laws on Ratification of the Agreements.

The three legislative initiatives presented to the Committee were endorsed. They will be included in the draft laws of the agendas of the second session of the RA NA sixth convocation and the regular sittings.

At the end of the sitting by Khosrov Harutyunyan’s proposal the parliamentarians approved the work order of the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs.

The RA NA Standing Committee on Health Care and Social Affairs moderated by Hakob Hakobyan at September 26 sitting debated the draft law on Amending the RA Law on Remuneration of the Persons with State Posts, which presented the RA NA Deputy Speaker Arpine Hovhanisyan.

The RA NA Standing Committee on Health Care and Social Affairs also endorsed the package of the RA draft laws on Amending the RA Law on Accumulative Pensions, on Personified Accounting of the Income tax and Social Payment and on State Pensions for including it in the draft law of the NA regular sittings’ agenda.
