On May 29, the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations at the first sitting moderated by Armen Ashotyan debated and endorsed the draft law on Amending the RA Law on International Agreements submitted for debate in the first reading, which presented the RA Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Shavarsh Kocharyan.

The bill included in the draft agenda of the NA May 30 extraordinary sitting was endorsed by the Committee.

The NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs and Protection of Human Rights moderated by Hrayr Tovmasyan debated the draft law on Amending the RA law on Legal Acts submitted by the RA Government in the first reading.

The key speaker, the RA First Deputy Minister of Justice Artur Hovhannisyan presented the objective of the draft law.

As a result of the debate, the Committee unanimously approved Arpine Hovhannisyan’s recommendations, then endorsed the legislative initiative.

The package of the draft law on the Structure of the RA Government and the enclosed draft laws were also debated in the first reading.

The NA Deputy Speaker Arpine Hovhannisyan urged his colleagues to vote for the legislative package.

The representative of the government accepted the recommendation. First, the Committee members unanimously expressed their positive opinion on the recommendation, and then endorsed the legislative package included in the draft agenda of the extraordinary sitting to be convened on May 30.

On May 29, the RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport moderated by Vardan Postanjyan held a sitting and debated in the first reading the legislative package on Amending the RA law on Television and Radio and on Amending the RA Law on State Duty authored by the RA Government.

The key speaker, The Chairman of the National Committee on Television and Radio Gagik Buniatyan, presented the details related to the draft laws.

As a result of the debate, the Committee endorsed the legislative package.

At the sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Healthcare and Social Affairs moderated by Hakob Hakobyan the legislative package on Amending the RA Law on Social Guarantees of State Officials and the RA Law on the RA Investigative Committee was debated in the first reading, which presented the RA First Deputy Minister of Justice Artur Hovhannisyan.

Artur Hovhannisyan also submitted for debate in the first reading the legislative package on Amending the RA Law on the Structure of the RA Government, on the Remuneration of State Officials, on Amending the RA Law on Public Service and on Amending the RA Law on Inspection Bodies.

As a result of the debates, the two legislative packages were endorsed by the Committee.
