On February 9, the RA National Assembly continued the work of the four-day sittings, by voting passing the bills debated on the previous day and ratifying the agreements.

By the proposal of the NA Speaker the parliamentarians welcomed the students and lecturers of Yerevan Panos Terlemezyan State College of Fine Arts,who had visited the parliament within the framework of the NA Open Doors programme and were observing the NA sitting.

The NA Deputy Speaker Hermine Naghdalyan has informed that the Chairman of the RA Control Chamber Ishkhan Zakaryan submitted to the RA NA Speaker an application on resignation from the office.

Armen Yeghiazaryan, Director of the National Centre for Legislative Regulation, in the first reading submitted for debate the draft law on Amending the RA law on Electronic Document and Electronic Digital Signing.

The draft law on Amending the RA Civil Code, submitted by RA Deputy Minister of Justice Suren Krmoyan was also debated in the first reading.

Levon Martirosyan presented the endorsements of the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs.

The deputies in the first reading also debated the bill on Amending the RA Code on Administrative Infringements.

The parliament in the first reading debated the draft law on Amending the RA law on Penitentiary Service submitted by the RA Government.

The member of the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs Edmon Marukyan presented the endorsements of the Committee.

The RA Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Haykaram Mkhitaryan submitted in the first reading the package of the draft laws on Amending the RA law on Social Security of the Servicemen and Their Families and on Amending the RA Law on Rescue Service.

Haykaram Mkhitaryan also presented in the first reading the package of bills on Amending the RA Law on Seismic Defense, on Amending the RA law on Local Self-Government, on Local Self-Government in the City of Yerevan.

The NA Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs endorsed the package of bills.

The RA Deputy Minister of Culture Artur Poghosyan presented the protocol (with enclosed statement) on Amending the Agreement of January 13, 1999 on Creation of the System of Inter-Library Subscription of Participant States of the CIS signed in Ashgabad on May 30, 2012.

The NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations the endorsement.

The RA Deputy Minister of Culture Artur Poghosyan presented the debate in the first reading the draft law on Amending the RA law on RA Holidays and Memorial Days.

The NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs submitted the endorsement on the abovementioned RA draft law.

The RA Deputy Minister of Healthcar Sergey Khachatryan in the first reading submitted the draft law on Amending the RA law on Psychiatric Aid and the package of enclosed draft laws.

The Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Health Care, Matrenity and Childhood Ara Babloyan proposed his colleagues to vote for it.

The legislative package on Amending the RA law o Export and Import of the Cultural Values was also debated in the first reading.

The NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs submitted the endorsement on the legislative package.

The RA Deputy Minister of RA Nature Protection presented the RA draft law on Amending the RA law on Ecological Education and Upbringing of the Population.

The member of the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport Ruzanna Muradyan presented the endorsement of the Committee.

Simon Papyan also submitted for debate in the first reading the draft law on Preservation of the Atmospheric Air and the enclosed legislative package.

The NA Standing Committee on Agriculture and Ecology submitted the endorsement.

The Head of the Immigration State Service of the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration and Development Gagik Yeganyan presented the agreement.

At the end of the sitting the NA Deputy Speaker Hermine Naghdalyan has informed that on February 14, at 12:00 the NA extraordinary sitting will be convened.
