On February 9, within the framework of the NA Open Lesson programme a group of students and lecturers of Panos Terlemezyan State College of Fine Arts visited the RA National Assembly.
The RA NA deputy Aragats Akhoyan, who had studied in the State College of Fine Arts, conducted the open lesson.
Talking about the law making activities of the parliament, the deputy touched upon the problems concerning the youth and the Armenians in general. Highlighting the role of the influence of the aesthetic education and art in the Armenians’ life, Mr Akhoyan underlined the important role of the active, initiating and literate citizens in the establishment of our country.
At the students’ request Aragats Akhoyan touched upon the immigration, the demand of the painters, sculptors in the Armenian labour market and problems concerning the preservation of national identity.
The MP also talked about the adoption of the Armenian Genocide and his plans and works to be done related to Western Armenia, urging the youth not to leave their Armenian roots and serve their knowledge and gift for the prosperity of the Motherland.
