On January 31, the RA NA Standing Committees convened sittings.

The NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Gagik Minasyan in the first reading debated the bill on Amending the RA law on Audit Activities authored by Elinar Vardanyan, Stepan Margaryan, Vahe Hovhannisyan and Tevan Poghosyan.

The RA Deputy Minister of Finance Davit Ananyan presented the endorsement of the government on the draft law.

In the Committee the initiative was not endorsed: it will not be included in the draft law of the agenda of the session.

The Deputy Chairman of the RA Central Bank Nerses Yeritsyan in the first reading submitted the bill on Housing Hypothec Crediting and the enclosed presented package of the bills.

The package was endorsed for being included in the draft laws of agendas of the eleventh session of the NA fifth convocation and the upcoming four-day sittings.

The RA Deputy Minister of Finance Armen Hayrapetyan presented the letter-agreement On Making Amendments to the Credit Agreements (special functions) signed on October 17, 2016 and on November 11, 2016 between the Republic of Armenia and the Asian Development Bank.

The agreement with the endorsement will be submitted for the ratification of the parliament.

At the sitting of the NA Standing Committee of Social Affairs moderated by Hakob Hakobyan the draft law on Amending the RA law on the Social Insurance of the Servicemen and Their Family Members, which presented the RA Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Artem Asatryan, was debated in the first reading.

The legislative package on Amending the RA law on Accumulative Pensions, on Amending the RA Law on Investment Funds and on Amending the RA Civil Code was also debated in the first reading. The Deputy Chairman of the RA Central Bank Nerses Yeritsyan presented the legislative package.

The debated issues with the endorsement of the Committee will be included in the draft laws of the agendas of the spring session and the upcoming four-day sittings.
