On December 8, within the framework of the RA NA Open Lesson the students and lecturers of the Chair of Service of YSU Faculty of Geography and Geology visited the parliament.

They attended the approval of the draft law on the RA State Budget for 2017, observed the work of the four-day sittings and got acquainted with the parliamentary happenings.

The RA NA Deputy Speaker Hermine Naghdalyan conducted the open lesson.

“Today you were present at a very important event for our country: the parliament approved the draft state budget of the coming year,” Hermine Naghdalyan noted and added that the authorities of the country will do their best to implement all financial programmes designed by the state budget.

Afterwards at the students’ request the NA Deputy Speaker touched upon the problems existing in the spheres of toursim and service, indicated the ways of their solution, highlighted the harmonization of the spheres to the international standards, which in its turn, will promote the development of the country’s economy and the replenishment of the state budget revenues.

In the development of the sphere the preservation of the historical-cultural monuments, presenting them to the tourists with modern methods, as well as the preparation of the well-educated, knowing several languages and well-informed specialists was highlighted. In this context Hermine Naghdalyan emphasized the individual, decent work with every tourist, which should become one of the most important preconditions of the activities of those being involved in the sphere.

The investment of the international experience and the cooperation of private and state structures for the development of the sphere was highlighted, which, according to Hermine Naghdalyan, will promote the development of the sub-structures.

At the end of the meeting Hermine Naghdalyan wished the students success in calling into life their chosen specialty and, according to tradition, have taken a photo with them in the NA Session Hall.
