On December 6, within the framework of the RA NA Open Lesson programme the pupils of the 8^th and 9^th forms of Yerevan School N 116 and their teachers visited the parliament. The pupils had been in the NA Session Hall, observed the debate procedure of the RA State Budget for 2017 and got acquainted with the parliament building.

The Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport Artak Davtyan conducted the open lesson which had become traditional. The open lesson was held in the warm and sincere atmosphere. Artak Davtyan presented to the children in a simple way and thoroughly the activities of the parliament, the phases of the elaboration of laws and their adoption, also talked about the inter-parliamentary activities, in that context touched upon his visit to FRG and the meetings held there a few days ago.

The guests addressed numerous questions to the Committee Chair, which related to the opportunity of the increase of the budgetary allocations in the sphere of education, the possible changes of the sphere of education, the issue of the NK conflict settlement, referred to the exaggerated amount of the parties in our country, the legislative initiative on the 1000-dram national duty passed in the first reading, the upcoming parliamentary elections and the peculiarities of parliamentary government system, expectations from it, etc. Artak Davtyan gladly answered all the questions, presented the priorities of our country, urged the pupils to study well and become competitive and good specialists.

At the end of the meeting the Director of the School Taguhi Hovhannisyan thanked Artak Davtyan for warm and interesting talk, and the meeting was summed up with the photo which had already become traditional.
