On November 15, the Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs Koryun Nahapetyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the RA Johannes Douma.

Koryun Nahapetyan talked about the reforms in the spheres of defense and police, the possible parliamentary cooperation and joint events with the Netherlands in those spheres.

Within the framework of the parliamentary cooperation of the two countries the Ambassador highlighted the possibilities of cooperation in the OSCE and NATO Parliamentary Assemblies.

The sides also discussed issues regarding the security environment in the South Caucasus and the Near East, the rising challenges and adequate responding to them.
