On November 14, within the framework of the Open Doors programme of the RA National Assembly the second-year students and the lecturers of the Legal Division of the History and Philology Faculty of Gyumri State Pedagogical Institute visited the parliament.

The RA NA Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov conducted the open lesson. Welcoming the attendees and highlighting the teacher’s role in the establishment of the educated society, the NA Deputy Speaker has noted that he is always ready to meet with the pedagogues and students.

During the sincere talk the students addressed their questions to the NA Deputy Speaker, to which he gladly answered.

The questions mainly related to the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh problem, the elections of the local self-government held in Gyumri and Vanadzor in October, the results of the presidential elections held in the USA, the amendments being envisaged by the Electoral Code, the extension of the communities and the possibility of providing of the students’ privileges of the marzes.

At the end of the meeting the NA Deputy Speaker urged the students to study well and get qualified education.
