Tribute to Memory of 27 October 1999 Victims in Parliament Park

17 years ago on October 27 the NA Speaker, National Hero Karen Demirchyan, the Prime Minister, National Hero Vazgen Sargsyan, the NA Deputy Speakers Yuri Bakhshyan, Ruben Miroyan, Artsakh War Hero, Deputy Armenak Armenakyan, Deputies Mikayel Kotanyan, Henrik Abrahamyan and Minister Leonard Petrosyan fell victims of crime in the Session Hall of the RA National Assembly.

What they have done for the establishment of our statehood, their great contribution and devotion to it are unforgettable and instructive. We remember them until now.

On October 27, 2016 the RA NA Speaker Galust Sahakyan, the NA Deputy Speakers Eduard Sharmazanov and Hermine Naghdalyan, the NA deputies, the close relatives of the deceased state figures, the representatives of the Parliament Staff, the journalists accredited in the parliament laid flowers at the monument eternalizing the memory of the crime victims and paid their tribute to their memory in silence and bowing.

The NA Speaker Galust Sahakyan characterized what happened a tragedy for our state and people.
