The President of the RA National Assembly Galust Sahakyan congratulated the well-known chess player, Director of Shengavit Chess Children-Youth Sport School, International Grandmaster Rafael Vahanyan on the occasion of his 65th birth anniversary. The National Assembly President’s congratulatory address reads:
“You are one of the brilliant representatives of the talented generation of chess players, whose rich sport biography distinguishes with numerous achievements not only before the playing board, but also by the special creative approach towards chess as art.
Being the first chess player from Armenia, enjoying the title of grandmaster you have always kept that sport title and our people’s honour high. Today, you contribute your talent, knowledge and experience to popularization of chess and preparing the new generation to the further achievements of the Armenian chess.”
The President of the National Assembly wished the celebrant health, welfare and all the best.
