On October 6, the Speaker of the RA National Assembly Galust Sahakyan received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hellenic Republic to the Republic of Armenia Nafsika Nancy Eva Vraila.

Congratulating the Ambassador on assuming the position, the Head of the parliament expressed hope that during the implementation of her diplomatic mission she will apply her professional knowledge and energy at best for the further deepening and strengthening the ties between Armenia and Greece.

In the development of the relations between the two friendly states Galust Sahakyan highlighted the parliamentary diplomacy. The Speaker of the National Assembly expressed readiness to support the Ambassador in the effective cooperation with the parliament.

Thanking the NA Speaker for the reception, Ambassador Nafsika Nancy Eva Vraila highlighted the effective cooperation of the Friendship Groups of the two parliaments on international platforms.

At the meeting the parties gladly underlined the deep historical roots and commonalities of the Armenian and Greek peoples’ friendship and expressed conviction that as a result of joint and mutually beneficial work, achievements deepening and strengthening relations between the two nations will be in place.
