On September 2, at the meeting in the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs led by Hovhannes Sahakyan the legislative package on Amendments to the RA Law on Compulsory Enforcement of Judicial Acts, RA Law on Public Auctions submitted by the RA Deputy Minister of Justice Arsen Mkrtchyan were debated in the first reading.
It has been noted that the package has a social direction; its aim is to expand the scope of social benefits of indebted natural persons and give them an opportunity not to be deprived of provision of minimal dwelling in case of confiscation of their property.
Arsen Mkrtchyan submitted for debate the legislative package on Amendments to the RA Law on Civil Procedure Code and on Ra Law on RA Judicial Code. The Deputy Minister detailed the legal regulation and provisions of articles of the submitted new code.
As a result of the discussions between the first and the second meeting an arrangement has been reached to consider the legislative package.
The discussed items will be included in the draft agendas of the NA Autumn Session and the coming 4-day sittings with the positive endorsement of the Committee.
The discussions on the bills on Amendments to the RA NA Law on Rules of Procedure authored by the NA MP Hovhannes Margaryan, and Amendments to the RA Criminal Code and Amendments to the Law on Administrative Infringements submitted by Edmond Marukyan were delayed for up to one year.
