On August 29-30, Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Artak Zakaryan, being in Astana for participation in “Building a Nuclear-Weapon-Free World” international conference, had a meeting with the Deputy Speaker of Mazhilis, Parliament of Kazakhstan, Vladimir Bojko.
Welcoming the Armenian partner and thanking for the participation in the conference, Vladimir Bojko presented the structure, main directions of legislative work of the newly elected Mazhilis and priorities of interparliamentary cooperation. The Deputy Speaker of Mazhilis

Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Artak Zakaryan, thanking for the warm reception, presented the general priorities of the RA foreign policy, process of the political settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, emphasized the importance of advancement of the parliamentary component of the Armenian-Kazakh relations, in particular, activation of the ties between the existing friendship groups in the parliaments of the two courtiers, as well as signing of memorandum of cooperation between foreign relations committees. Artak Zakaryan and Vladimir Bojko also came up with proposals to organize mutual visits of the friendship groups in the parliaments of the two countries.
