Dear Compatriots,

I congratulate you on the 26th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of Armenia.

Each of us has a dream, at the same time; we as a nation have a united dream. By the Declaration of Independence of Armenian adopted 26 years ago the Armenian Parliament declared the beginning of establishment of an independent statehood, giving a new content to Armenian history, newly directing the country’s further development process. By the adoption of Declaration of Independence we took our way to the craving. A year after this dream it was brought into life through referendum for independence.  Today, we go further as an independent country combining its own with common values, which should be more democratic, more responsible and more caring towards its citizens for the sake of its future. All of us like citizens should be like that toward the country which is not only ours, but also that of those who are abroad, but certainly our brothers and sisters, always considering themselves a part of it.

Dear Compatriots,

Each of us not only has a dream, but also imagination about country’s future. Often reality is more modest than our imagination or wish, however, we are strong and purposeful enough to fulfill our dream. The success depends on the faith and trust on our own strength. By adopting the Declaration of Independence of Armenia 26 years ago we documented again our faith and trust existing in us. I am confident that the time will come for us when dream coincides   with reality, which al of us bring it closer by our work and lifestyle, by our honest concern and sober thinking of tomorrow. All of us are responsible for the country’s future as peace and stability, the hope for future starts from every family, street, settlement. Leaning on the quarter century old experience and skills gained after the declaration of Independence we should more efficiently use the time and opportunities given to us, what we have and what we have acquired from human resources to military victories, from intellectual and economic potential to spiritual strength.
