On May 25, the joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committees on Agriculture and Environment and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs was held moderated by Martun Grigoryan and Gagik Minasyan.

At the joint sitting the executive of the financial means allocated to the Ministries of Agriculture and Nature Protection, the State Committee for Water Management adjunct to Government from the RA state budget for 2015.

The RA Deputy Minister of Finance - Chief Treasurer Atom Janjughazyan presented the report of the expenditure execution allocated to the State Committee for Water Management and noted that during the current year all designed programmes were implemented and sums were also provided from the reserve fund.

The RA Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan presented the implemented programmes for 2015.

The Chairman of State Committee for Water Management adjunct to Government Aram Harutyunyan touched upon the continuity of the programmes under implementation during the current year: Meghri gravity flow system was operated, and Arpa-Sevan tunnel repair works will end this year.

The RA Minister of Nature Protection Aramayis Grigoryan talked about cleaning of the water-covered territory, preservation of lake fish and crayfish, as well as the operation of Ararat valley underground waters.
