Latvian MP Visits Yerablur
1 / 7

On April 9, the Member of Parliament (MP) of Latvia Sergejs Potapkins visited Yerablur Pantheon in Yerevan to pay tribute to the memory of the Armenian military who had heroically fallen as a consequence of large-scale military aggression unleashed by the Azerbaijani armed forces since April 1.

Answering the journalists’ questions, Sergejs Potapkins noted that his visit to Armenia had not been planned beforehand: he arrived personally to see the real situation.

“Learning the news I was impressed by what happened, I express my condolences to all victims’ families and the Armenian people. I wish there wouldn’t be new victims, and the territory of Yerablur Pantheon wouldn’t be enlarged. The solution of the problem is through peaceful negotiations: any military action is condemnable for me. I wish lasting peace,” noted the Member of Parliament of Latvia in his word.
