YEREVAN, 11 MARCH. The Chairman of the CSTO PA Council Sergey Narishkin and the members of the CSTO PA Delegation led by him, who visited the Republic of Armenia within the framework of the visiting sitting of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Council, arriving in Yerevan, visited Tsitsernakaberd, and laid a wreath and flowers at the 1915 Armenian Genocide victims monument, in silence paid tribute to the memory of one and a half million innocent victims.
“Every time visiting Armenia I certainly go to Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex. It is necessary to remember what happened 100 years ago so that such tragedies aren’t repeated. Every year the RF State Duma remembers and acknowledges a relevant statement, by which the parliament expresses its condolence and position on the tragic events occurred in 1915,” Sergey Narishkin noted in his word.
