The RA NA President’s message of condolence reads:

“I learnt with deep sorrow about the death of the well-known historian, the RA NAS Academician, the RA Laureate of State Prize Hrachik Simonyan.

He was a labourer of science in the highest meaning of that word. Hrachik Simonyan’s contribution to the historical studies is significant, and especially in the sphere of Armenian studies.

The death of the merited and patriot intellectual is a big loss for our whole people.

I sincerely express my condolences to Hrachik Simonyan’s family, close relatives and friends and share their grief.”
