The RA NA President’s congratulatory message says:

“I congratulate the members of the State Youth Orchestra of Armenia, the whole staff and the fans on the 10^th anniversary of the establishment of the Orchestra.

The Orchestra led by the young, talented musician Sergey Smbatyan occupies its important place in the cultural life of Armenia. This young, but already sustained creative orchestra implements an important social-cultural mission, preserves and spreads the rich heritage of classical music, making its weighty contribution of enlightening and spiritual upbringing not only to the life of the youth, but also to the society in general.

Being a solid fusion of youth and professionalism, the Orchestra with its high-quality performances admires the art lovers of both Armenia and abroad, serving masterpieces of Armenian and world classical music and modern composers’ works.

The Orchestra and its Maestro’s diligence and devotion to the music bear new ideas and projects, which end in the form of the concert series with new unforgettable meetings with audience. I am convinced that in future the Orchestra will also continue to have its beneficial influence on the cultural atmosphere.

I once again congratulate the members and the staff on the 10^th anniversary of the establishment of the State Youth Orchestra of Armenia, wishing you creative inspiration, optimism and all the best. Let the next years of the Orchestra’s biography become times of new searches and new achievements.”
