On November 24 the RA National Assembly continued the work of the extraordinary sitting.

The parliament in the first reading the bill “On Approving the Three-Year Programme of the State Statistical Works of the Republic of Armenia for 2016-2018,” which introduced the President of the RA National Statistical Service Stepan Mnatsakanyan.

The deputies Naira Zohrabyan, Mher Shahgeldyan, Hrant Bagratyan, Heghine Bisharyan, Tevan Poghosyan presented their viewpoints on the draft law.

In his final speech Stepan Mnatsakanyan touched upon the deputies’ voiced questions.

The RA Deputy Minister of Finance-Chief Treasurer Atom Janjughazyan submitted the loan agreement Infrastructure and Rural Financial Support Program between the Republic of Armenia and the OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID).

The NA Speaker Galust Sahakyan has informed that the voting of the package of the draft law “On Amending the RA Civil Code” and the enclosed draft laws was postponed by the consent of the RA Government.

The NA Speaker has noted that the reason of the postponement is the presence of certain problems in the package, which is necessary to debate once again.

Afterwards the deputies by voting passed the draft laws debated at the extraordinary sitting and ratified the international treaties.

Covering the agenda, the parliament ended the work of the extraordinary sitting.
