On November 9 at the joint sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Vardan Ayvazyan and Gagik Minasyan respectively debated the revenues and expenditures of the spheres of industry, urban development, transport and communication, energy system and natural resources, tariff policy, protection of economic competitiveness, as well as the formation of revenues, the tax and customs policy.

The RA First Minister of Finance Pavel Safaryan presented the general picture of the financial indices of the budgetary allocations of the mentioned spheres, noting that they were not undergone changes. Mr Safaryan also talked about the programmes of 2016.

The RA Deputy Minister of Economy Emil Tarasyan touched upon the budgetary financing and the programmes of the relevant spheres.

The RA Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Levon Shahverdyan, presenting the main principles of the development and the financial indices for 2016, has noted that the development of the nuclear energy is in the perspective of the development of the country, the regional integration of the energy system of Armenia with the energy system of the neighbouring countries, as well as the use of the renewable energy resources.

The RA Minister of Urban Development Narek Sargsyan presented the allocations for the sphere envisaged in 2016.

The RA Minister of Transport and Communication Gagik Beglaryan introduced the financial indices of the spheres for 2016.

The representatives of the RA Public Services Regulatory Commission, the RA State Commission for Protection of Economic Competition, and the State Committee of the Real Estate Cadastre adjunct to the RA Government also presented the general volume of the expenditures and the revenues of the state budget for 2016.

During the debates the deputies submitted their questions, remarks and recommendations.

The RA Deputy Minister of Finance Armen Alaverdyan presented the picture of the revenue formation, the tax and customs policy.
