On October 6 within the framework of the NA Open Doors programme the students of Yerevan Valery Brusov State University Languages and Social Sciences and the lecturer Karine Kalantaryan visited the parliament.

Welcoming the students, the NA Chief of Staff-General Secretary Hrayr Tovmasyan presented the procedure of the constitutional reforms, touched upon in detail some provisions being widely debated in the current draft constitutional amendments and among the public.

Afterwards the students met with the NA Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov. The students addressed numerous questions to the NA Deputy Speaker, which related to the activities of the legislative body, the Syrian Armenians’ problems, the emphases of the RA President Serzh Sargsyan’s speech in the 70^th Session of the UN General Assembly, the issue of the NK conflict settlement, etc.

At the end of the visit the students have been taken a photo with the NA Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov in the Session Hall of the National Assembly.
