The RA NA President’s message reads: “I am deeply saddened by the death of the French Armenian distinguished violinist, People’s Artist of Armenia Jean Ter-Merguerian.

Jean Ter-Mergeurian’s performing art was the Armenian and French cultural visit card in the whole world. In many concert halls of Armenia and the world his served music was uniting the borders of space and time with magic force, admiring the multi-lingual audience.

Jean Ter-Mergeurian’s connection with the Motherland was very warm, where there was limitless love and devotion, sincerity and tenderness, which was always displayed during his every visit to Armenia and his every concert.

I sincerely express my condolences to the famous musician’s family, relatives, friends and I share their grief.”
