On September 30 the RA NA President took part in the oath taking ceremony of the first year students from different faculties of Khachatur Abovyan Armenian State Pedagogical University. Let us note that the oath taking ceremony of the first year students of Pedagogical University traditionally takes place in Khachatur Abovyan House-Museum.

Congratulating the first year students and highly evaluating their chosen profession of the teacher, the President of the National Assembly noted: “As the spiritual workers of the nation today’s first year students should bring up generations, serving the nation, educating patriotic and literate citizens. It is difficult to find higher and more majestic goal. The creation of the strong generation and powerful Motherland depends on the teachers educating the nation.”

Galust Sahakyan underlined especially the venue of the event, great enlightener Khachatur Abovyan’s House Museum, and wished the future pedagogues to be his worthy followers.
