On September 28 the RA NA President Galust Sahakyan received the participants of the Third International Nursing Congress of Armenia. Let us note that the participants of the Congress arrived in Armenia from different countries of the world: Russia, Canada, Lebanon, Estonia, Iran, Georgia, Saudi Arabia and Italy.

Welcoming the guests in the National Assembly, Galust Sahakyan has highlighted the nurse’s work and has noted that he is aware of the problems of the sphere.

The NA President welcomed the creation of the Nursing Association in Armenia, noting that during the years of Artsakh War in our country the nurses passed a serious path of heroization. Galust Sahakyan opined that the nurse’s role in the sphere of healthcare will improve the whole system. He has noted that the nurse’s work from the perspective of its importance is equalized with the doctor’s work, as the participant of the whole process of physical and psychological recovery. The President of the National Assembly wished the participants of the Congress new successes in their professional activities.

Alina Kushkyan, President of the Nursing Organizers’ Association, thanked the President of the National Assembly for the reception and highlighted the holding of similar events in Armenia. Mrs Kushkyan introduced the participants of the Congress, who visited Armenia to take part in the First Asian Regional Conference and are going to leave for Artsakh. Alina Kushkyan has noted that the Congress, where nurses, who arrived from different marzes of Armenia, will give an opportunity to raise the degree of professionalism and get acquainted with the international experience.
