On September 18 the Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Protection of Human Rights Elinar Vardanyan, the Deputy Chair of the Committee met with Natalia Vutova, Head of the CoE Office in Yerevan.

Welcoming the guest, Elinar Vardanyan presented the spheres of the activities of the Committee led by her and highlighted such meetings, expecting effective cooperation.

During the meeting the sides discussed the provisions of the Istanbul Convention on preventing and combating the violence against women and domestic violence.

The Deputy Chair of the Committee Margarit Yesayan has noted that the Committee expects fruitful work from the CoE Office in Yerevan.

Summing up the meeting the interlocutors expressed readiness to continue the cooperation at practical plane.
