On June 24 the NA President, the President of the Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) Management Board Galust Sahakyan attended the solemn ceremony of handing graduation diplomas in the University. The NA Vice President Eduard Sharmazanov also attended the event.

The day is more than symbolic, as every graduate begins a new phase of an upsurge. The educational institution, serving as a cornerstone at the pedagogical centres, has been and remains a forerunner in its kind. This year the number of the graduates is about 2000, and 300 out of them have graduated from the University with excellent marks. The NA President Galust Sahakyan personally handed bachelor degree and M.A. diplomas to the best graduates. Congratulating the heroes of the day, the Head of the Parliament has underlined that education is a trump, which in future will be a visit card for achieving new heights. In his remarks Galust Sahakyan once again reminded that the pillar of every state is the well-bred and well-informed generation, so he has urged them to enrich the base of the knowledge in future, too. The diploma owners in their turn promised to keep high the honour of the genuine University everywhere.
