On June 16 the RA National Assembly continued the work of the extraordinary session by voting passed the draft law “On the Investment Program for Processing Industrial Dumps Accumulated and Accumulating in Voghji, Pkhrut, Artsvanik Tailing Dumps, as well as Generated and Generating as a Result of the Activity of Zangezur Copper Molybdenum Combine CJSC” and ratified the treaty “On the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Joining the EEU signed in Moscow on May 8, 2015” and the enclosed protocols.

Afterwards the parliament in the first reading debated the package of the law “On Amending the RA Civil Code” and enclosed laws which submitted the RA Deputy Minister of Justice Arsen Mkrtchyan.

The member of the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs informed that the package was debated in the Committee and endorsed.

The Head of the NA Rule of Law Faction Heghine Bisharyan presented the view of the Faction on the package.

In his final speech Arsen Mkrtchyan touched upon the voiced concerns and gave clarifications.

The RA Deputy Minister of Justice in the first reading considered the package of the draft laws envisaging “Amendments to the RA Civil Code” and to a number of other laws.

Mikael Melkumyan presented the view of the PAP Faction and noted that the Faction was for the idea.

In his final speech Arsen Mkrtchyan thanked the parliament for concerned debate and noted that the legislative package would essentially determine the relations connected with buildings to be constructed.

The RA Minister of Economy Karen Chshmaritian in the first reading presented the bill “On Amending the RA Law on Aviation."

The Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Vardan Ayvazyan introduced the endorsement of the Committee.

In his final speech Karen Chshmaritian touched upon the deputies’ questions and gave exhaustive answers.

Afterwards the deputies in the first reading debated the draft law “On Patent Payments” which also submitted the RA Minister of Economy Karen Chshmaritian.

The RA Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Artem Asatryan submitted for debate in the first reading the draft law “On Amending the RA Labour Code.”

The Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Social Affairs Hakob Hakobyan noted that the bill was considered and endorsed.

Artem Asatryan also presented in the first reading the draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Employment.”

The Committee Chairman Hakob Hakobyan presented the endorsement of the Committee.

The draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Social Security of Servicemen and Their Family Members” was considered in the second reading procedure.

The National Assembly will continue the work of the extraordinary work on June 17.
