On June 11 within the framework of the NA “Open Lesson” program the participants of the Women’s Entrepreneurship International Forum “Perspectives of New Developments” visited the RA NA. First, the guests took a tour in the parliament, observed the sittings, the deputies’ legislative activities, then met with the NA Deputy Speaker Hermine Naghdalyan, deputies Karine Poghosyan and Ruzanna Muradyan. The one-hour discussion went on in an atmosphere of exchange of warm and constructive thoughts. Let us inform that from June 8 to 10 “A Week of Women’s Entrepreneurship in Yerevan” was held in the capital, where the NA Deputy Speaker Hermine Naghdalyan delivered a speech. Welcoming the participants already in the NA, the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament highlighted the holding of such forums and the exchange of international experience in the sphere of entrepreneurship. Hermine Naghdalyan has noted that that branch of economy always needs equipping with new management mechanisms. She has once again expressed her satisfaction with the successes recorded by the women entrepreneurs in the country and added that today the RA authorities conduct an emphasized policy to support and back the beginner business women. All this is done in accordance with corresponding advice for right business organization and management, credit support is provided as well. Evaluating woman’s role in the life in Armenia, Hermine Naghdalyan has documented that today in the development of the economy especially women record tangible results.

Touching upon the entrepreneurship skills and management mechanisms, the deputy Ruzanna Muradyan has documented that in future a programme will be elaborated which will enable to root the culture of entrepreneurial thinking among the citizens from early ages. Hermine Naghdalyan also presented the NA structure to about 40 participants who had visited the parliament, talked about the Standing Committees, legislative activities and the procedure of conducting sittings. Thanking for the warm reception the Founding Chair of the NGO “Young Women’s Association of Armenia” Lilit Asatryan handed over a certificate to the NA Deputy Speaker by the Forum, where the participants expressed their gratitude to Hermine Naghdalyan for showing support and devotion. The impressive meeting was completed at the Session Hall with a symbolic photo.
