On May 15 the NA Standing Committees convened sittings.

At May 15 next sitting the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs moderated by Hovhannes Sahakyan debated the revised version of the draft law “On Amending the RA Civil Procedure Code.”

The deputies also considered the draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Referendum.”

The draft laws with endorsement will be included in the draft laws of the agendas of the seventh session of the NA fifth convocation and the upcoming four-day sittings.

The RA Deputy Minister of Justice Arman Tatoyan in the first reading submitted to the deputies’ debate the package of the draft laws “On Amending the RA Criminal Code” and “On Amending the RA Criminal Procedure Code.”

The package of the draft laws was endorsed: it will be included in the draft law of the agenda of the upcoming four-day sittings.

The NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs moderated by Vardan Ayvazyan in the first reading debated the draft law “On Giving the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs the Assignment to Implement Monitoring.”

The Committee in the second reading debated the draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Aviation” which submitted the RA Deputy Minister of Economy Sergey Avetisyan.

The RA Government presented for debate the draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Precious Metals,” and the RA First Deputy Minister of Economy Garegin Melkonyan has expressed his opinion about the draft law.

The package of the draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Wastes” also was debated at the sitting of the Committee, which submitted the RA First Deputy of Nature Protection Simon Papyan.

All the draft laws presented for debate with the endorsement will be included in the draft laws of agendas of the seventh session of the NA fifth convocation and the upcoming four-day sittings.

At the sitting of the Committee the draft laws “On Amending the RA Law on Value Added Tax” and “On Making Addenda to the RA Law on Value Added Tax” submitted by the NA deputy Mikayel Melkumyan was put for debate, and by the author’s proposal the debate was postponed up to one year.
