On April 20 the Head of the NA RPA Faction Vahram Baghdasaryan received Ali Kaeidi, Head of the Iran-Armenia Friendship Group of the parliament of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the persons accompanying him.

In the course of the meeting both sides highlighted the strengthening and expansion of the cooperation of the inter-parliamentary relations, to which, according to the interlocutors, can also promote the activation of the mutual visits. It was decided in particular that in the upcoming May Iran-Armenia Friendship Group will visit Armenia.

Touching upon the Armenian Genocide Centennial, the Head of the Iran-Armenia Friendship Group Ali Kaeidi has noted that they condemn the massacres.

Highly assessing the attitude of the IRI towards the condemnation of such crimes and struggle against it, the Head of the RPA Faction Vahram Baghdasaryan has stated that the Armenian Genocide is the first genocide of the 20^th century, and later other genocides and such crimes will not happen, as long as the world keeps silence and condemns it.

The interlocutors referred to a number of issues of bilateral interest.
